Citrus Champagne Punch

Ingredients
  Sugar 250 Milliliter (1 Cup)
  Water 310 Milliliter (1 1/4 Cups)
  Orange 1 , grate rind and takeo out juice
  Lemon 1 , grate rind and takeo out juice
  Grapefruit juice 375 Milliliter (1 1/2 Cup)
  Pineapple juice 375 Milliliter (1 1/2 Cup)
  Ginger ale 1 1⁄2 Liter (6 Cups)
  Champagne/Sparkling wine 750 Milliliter (1 Bottle)
  Ice cubes 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Orange slices 2
  Lemon slices 2
Directions

Dissolve sugar and water in saucepan over medium heat.
Add grated rind of orange and lemon and allow to cool.
Combine fruit juices and syrup and chill.
Before serving, add chilled ginger ale, champagne, ice cubes and fruit slices.
