Hot Cranberry Punch
|Boiling water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cranberry juice cocktail||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Apple cider/Unsweetened apple juice||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Cinnamon stick||1 , cracked|
|Fresh orange peel strip||1 (About 2 Inches Long And 1/2 Inch Wide)|
|Thin orange slices||4|
Place the tea bag in a mug, add the boiling water, and steep for 5 minutes.
In a small saucepan (preferably nonmetallic), place the cranberry juice cocktail, apple cider, cinnamon stick, cloves, allspice, and orange peel, and bring to a boil over moderately high heat.
Lower the heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
Remove from the heat and add the tea, discarding the tea bag.
Strain the punch into 4 mugs and garnish each drink with an orange slice and cinnamon stick, if desired.
