Minted Fruit Punch

  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Grapefruit juice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Oranges 6 , juiced
  Lemons 6 , juiced
  Crushed pineapple 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Creme de menthe 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cucumber rind 1⁄2
  Ginger ale 1 Quart

Heat sugar and water together until sugar is dissolved.
Add the fruit juices, pineapple, creme de menthe, cucumber rind, and the peel of 1/2 orange.
Chill for several hours.
Remove cucumber and orange peel.
Add ginger ale; pour over ice in tall glasses.
