Champagne Punch

Ingredients
  Sugar lumps 6
  Bitters 1 Dash
  Cognac 1 Cup (16 tbs) (High Quality)
  Champagne 3 Liter, chilled (French, 3 Bottles)
Directions

1. Place the sugar lumps in a punch bowl. Sprinkle with bitters and add the cognac.
2. At serving time, uncap the champagne and add to the bowl. Add ice. If desired, decorate with fruit.
