Simple Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients
  Canned pumpkin 1 Cup (16 tbs) (or cooked)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 3 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Strain all liquid from pumpkin.
Cream butter and sugar; beat in egg.
Sift all remaining ingredients to- gether; add to creamed mixture alternately with pumpkin.
Pour into greased 8x4x2 1/2-inch pan; let rise in warm place for 20 minutes.
Bake in 350-degree oven for 45 minutes or until loaf tests done.
