Method Of Cooking Pumpkin
Cut pumpkin into pieces, whatever size is most convenient.
Place, skin side up, on rack in baking pan and bake in a preheated oven for about 40 minutes, or until the pumpkin is tender when pierced with a fork.
Remove from oven.
Scoop pumpkin pulp out with a spoon.
Cool and if not using immediately, refrigerate or freeze.
