Smoked Oyster Puffs
|Smoked oysters||3 1⁄4 Ounce|
|Rye bread slices||16|
|Mayonnaise/Salad dressing||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sliced green onion||2 Tablespoon|
|Processed swiss cheese slices||8 Ounce|
Drain oysters; set aside.
Toast bread on both sides.
Combine mayonnaise and green onion.
Spread on one side of toast slices.
Cut out rounds of cheese to fit toast.
Place a smoked oyster on each bread round, then top with cheese round, covering mayonnaise.
Broil 3 to 4 inches from heat till cheese is puffy and golden, 1 to 2 minutes.
