Cheese Puff Or Strata
|White bread slice||8|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Milk||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Prepared mustard||1 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Teaspoon|
Spread bread with butter; cut into large cubes. Place one-third in a buttered baking dish. Sprinkle with one-third cheese. Repeat with remaining bread and cheese to make two more layers of each. Beat eggs with remaining ingredients; pour over bread-cheese layers; cover. Refrigerate at least 3 hours or overnight. Bake, uncovered, 1 hour, or until puffed and golden and sharp knife inserted in center comes out clean (not milky).
