Party Cream Puffs
|Crisco||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Boiling water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sifted|
1 Preheat the oven to 450° fahrenheit.
2 Grease a cookie sheet lightly.
3 In a saucepan, mix Crisco and boiling water.
4 Stir over low heat until Crisco is melted.
5 Blend in flour and salt all at once, beating until completely smooth.
6 Remove from the heat.
7 Add in eggs, one at a time, beating vigorously after each addition.
8 Drop from half-teaspoon on the prepared cookie sheet, 1 1/2 inches apart.
9 Bake at for 10 minutes.
10 Reduce the temperature to 350° and bake for another 10 minutes.
11 Let cool.
12 Slice off the tops.
13 Fill in the desired filling.
14 Excellent as appetizer or dessert.
