Puffs With Beef
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Dry onion soup mix||1 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Cooked ground beef||1 Cup (16 tbs), or dried|
|Chopped pickles||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Hot sauce||To Taste|
Combine the water and butter and bring to a boil.
Blend in the flour, stirring constantly until mixture leaves side of pan and forms a ball.
Remove from heat.
Shake soup mix through a sieve over flour mixture.
Beat eggs into flour mixture, one at a time, beating until smooth after each addition.
Drop by 1/2 teaspoon-fuls onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until dry, then cool.
Combine the beef, pickles, catsup, hot sauce and enough salad dressing to moisten.
Cut open puffs, then fill with beef mixture.
