Oyster Cheese Puffs
|Butter||1⁄4 Pound (110 Grams)|
|Grated sharp cheddar cheese||375 Milliliter, grated (1 1/2 Cups)|
|Egg||1 , separated|
|Canned smoked oysters||8 Ounce, drained (2 Cans Of 4 Ounce / 110 Grams)|
|Bread rounds||32 (1 1/2 Inch Diameter)|
|Finely chopped parsley||15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)|
Beat butter, cheese and sherry together.
Add egg yolk and blend well.
Whisk egg white till soft peaks form.
Fold egg white into cheese mixture.
Place 1 oyster on each round of bread.
Top with 1 tsp (5 ml) of cheese mixture.
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and paprika.
Place on baking sheets.
Bake at 450°F (230°C) for 10 minutes and serve piping hot.
