Cheddar Cheese Puffs
|Water||1⁄2 Pint (300 Milliliter)|
|Butter||1 Ounce (25 Grams)|
|Flour||4 Ounce (100 Grams)|
|Cayenne pepper||To Taste|
|Cheese||4 Ounce, grated (100 Grams)|
|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Oil||2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)|
Put the water and butter in a saucepan and bring to the boil, stirring to melt the butter.
Add the flour, salt and cayenne and stir until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
Remove from the heat and beat in the cheese and eggs.
Drop spoonsful of the paste into hot oil and deep fry until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
