Salad Bowl Puff
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Margarine/Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Gold Medal)|
|Ham salad filling/Tuna salad filling||1 Tablespoon|
Heat oven to 400°.
Grease pie plate, 9 x 1 1/4 inches.
Heat water and margarine to rolling boil.
Stir in flour and salt.
Stir vigorously over low heat until mixture forms a ball, about 30 seconds.
Remove from heat; cool 10 minutes.
Beat in eggs, all at once; continue beating until smooth.
Spread dough evenly in pie plate, building up edge slightly.
Bake until puffed and dry in center, 45 to 60 minutes; cool.
Just before serving, fill with Ham Salad Filling.
Cut into wedges.
