Baked Cream Puffs
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Bring water and butter to a boil; add flour and salt; beat thoroughly.
Stir and cook over low heat until mixture forms a stiff ball.
Remove from heat; add unbeaten eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one.
Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 450° for 15 minutes, reduce heat to 325° for 20-30 minutes more.
When cold, make a slit in top and fill with custard or whipped cream or other filling.
