Steamed Marmalade Pudding
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs), sifted|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Shortening||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Eggs||4 Small, well beaten|
1.Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.
2.Cream shortening and sugar together.
3.Add flour and eggs and mix thoroughly.
4.Spread marmalade in the bottom of a mold, place the batter on top, cover mold and steam 1 1/2 hours.
5.Serve with cream
