Golden Butterscotch Bread Pudding
|Milk||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Eggs||2 , well beaten|
|Stale soft bread cubes||2 Cup (32 tbs) (packed)|
|Chopped dates||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Lightly packed brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Scald milk and add remaining ingredients.
Pour into a well greased 1 1/2 quart casserole and dot with bits of butter and sprinkle with extra brown sugar and nutmeg.
Bake at 350F for about 1 hour.
