Ice-Box Pudding

Ingredients
  Eggs 3 , separated
  Icing sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Unsweetened chocolate squares 2
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Lady fingers/Stale cakes 1⁄2 Pound
Directions

Mix sugar and well beaten egg yolks.
Add chocolate melted with vanilla.
Fold in egg whites that have been stiffly beaten.
Line dish with lady fingers or stale cake.
Cover with some of the mixture.
Add another layer of fingers or cake.
Spread with remaining mixture and cover with cake.
Chill and unmold when set.
Spread with whipped cream.
