Homemade Sago Pudding
The sago pudding is a steamed pudding made with soaked sago and milk. Mixed together with breadcrumbs, eggs and raisins with butter, the sago pudding is spiced with nutmega dn cinnamon.
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1 Teaspoon|
|Hot water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Dry bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|White sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Melted butter||3 Tablespoon|
|Raisins||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Soak sago overnight in milk.
Add baking soda dissolved in hot water.
Add remaining ingredients and pour into a greased bake dish.
Cover and steam 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
