Marmalade Pudding (Steamed)
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|White sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Orange marmalade||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sifted all-purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
Grease small tins or small angel cake pan.
Cream butter, add sugar, then eggs and beat well.
Add water and marmalade.
Sift flour, soda and baking powder and fold into first mixture.
Blend till smooth.
Fill tins or cake pan two thirds full.
Cover and steam 2 hours.
Serve with sauce.
Freeze leftover pudding and when heated again it is just as fresh
