Slow-Cooked Old Fashioned Rice Pudding

Ingredients
  Rice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Milk 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Lemon rind 1 , grated
Directions

Wash rice, mix with the other ingredients and pour into a buttered pudding dish.
Bake 3 hours in a very slow oven (250° F ) stirring three times during the first hour of baking to prevent the rice from settling.
