|Milk||4 Cup (64 tbs) (or 1 tall can evaporated milk, diluted with an equal quantity of water)|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Soak bread crumbs in milk; add beaten eggs, sugar, and salt.
Pour into a greased pudding dish.
Sprinkle the top sparingly with nutmeg.
Place the pudding dish in a pan of hot water.
Bake in a moderate oven (350Â° F ) for about 30 minutes or until firm and brown on top
