Old Fashioned Rice Pudding

Ingredients
  Milk 3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs), scalded
  Uncooked long-grain rice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Combine all ingredients except vanilla and raisins. Bake 1 1/2 hours (stir each 1/2 hour). Stir in vanilla and raisins and let cook another half hour, or until rice is tender. Don't stir again. Converted rice may be used, but not rice that is broken and split.
