  Eggs 2
Brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon

Sift together flour, soda, baking powder, salt, and spices. Add to egg mixture alternately with buttermilk. Stir in suet, prunes, and raisins. Steam for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, or until cake tester inserted in pudding comes out clean. Let pudding stand a few minutes after removing from cooker.
