Old-Fashioned Sweet Potato Pudding

Ingredients
  Eggs 2
  Sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Allspice 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cloves 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Dark syrup 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Hot milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Grated sweet potatoes 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Butter 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Directions

Combine eggs, sugar, salt, spices and syrup.
Mix milk, sweet potatoes and butter; cook until sweet potatoes are heated through.
Add to syrup mixture; blend well.
Pour into greased baking dish.
Bake at 300 degrees for 2 hours.
Serve warm with light cream or whipped cream, if desired.
