Bread Pudding

Ingredients
  White bread slices 8 (use stale bread)
  Milk 3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)
  Butter 4 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Sherry 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Seedless raisins 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1 Preheat the oven to 375° F.
2 Lightly butter a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.

MAKING
3 Cut the bread into small cubes, making about 2 cups.
4 In a pan, scald the milk.
5 Add in the butter.
6 Carefully pour the mixture over the bread cubes.
7 Allow to soak for 10 minutes.
8 Blend in the sugar, eggs, sherry, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt and raisins.
9 Pour into the prepared baking dish.
10 Set the dish in a pan of hot water.
11 Bake for 1 hour or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

SERVING
12 Cut and serve.
