Central House Bread Pudding With Rum Sauce

Ingredients
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs), warmed
  Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Eggs 3 Small
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  White bread 3 Cup (48 tbs), cubed
  Raisins 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Half and half 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (or light cream)
  Rum 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1)Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

MAKING
2)Take a pan,scald milk and margarine.
3)In a bowl, mix the eggs,sugar,salt and spices together.
4)Carefully, pour the scalded milk to the egg mixture,and stir continously.
5)Take a 8inch square baking pan,add the bread cubes and raisins.
6)Pour the milk mix over the bread.
7)Gently palce the dish in a larger pan filled half full with warm water.
8)Bake this for about 40 minutes or till lightly brown on top and set in the middle.
9)Make the sauce,add butter,sugar and cream in a saucepan,stir continously.
10)Bring to a boil, lower the flame and stir until sugar is dissolved.
11)Pour the rum on top.

SERVING
12)Serve warm over bread pudding
