Old New England Pudding

Old New England pudding is the traditional Thanksgiving dish for many years now. Now, you too can try and make this dessert for your Thanksgiving guests. Old New England pudding is very simple and quick to make.
Ingredients
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  All-purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cranberries 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Butter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1)In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup sugar, flour, baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
2)Add milk, cranberries and 1 1/2 tablespoons melted butter.
3)Take a greased 8-inch square pan and spread the batter.
4)Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
5)On double boiler, mix remaining sugar, remaining salt, 1/2 cup butter, cream and vanilla.
6)Cook for about 15 minutes or until smooth and thickened.

SERVING
7)Serve hot pudding.
