Butterscotch Bread Pudding
|Packed dark brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Buttered white bread slices/Raisin bread slices||5 , cut into 1/2 inch squares (Fresh)|
|Milk||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)|
1. Generously butter inside of double-boiler top pour in brown sugar and then add bread squares.
2. Beat eggs with milk and salt and pour over bread without stirring.
3. Cook over boiling water with cover for 1 hour.
4. Serve warm, with its own sauce.
It goes very good with ice cream.
