Apple Pudding

Ingredients
  Apples 6 , peeled, cored, sliced
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Ground cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Margarine 4 Tablespoon
  Hot water 4 Tablespoon
  Egg 1
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Preheat oven to 375°F.
Put apples into baking dish.
Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar and spices; dot with 2 tablespoons margarine.
Add 1/2 cup hot water.
Beat egg and 1/2 cup sugar together until thick.
Stir in 2 tablespoons melted margarine.
Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together; fold into egg mixture.
Spread on top of apple.
Bake 25 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350°F.
Bake 10 to 15 minutes.
