|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Fruit cocktail and juice||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Sift together sugar, flour, salt and soda.
Beat egg and add vanilla, fruit cocktail and juice.
Turn into greased dish - do not have it too thick.
Over top sprinkle a mixture of brown sugar and chopped nuts.
Bake 3/4 hour at 325 Â°F.
Serve with whipped cream and top with cherry.
Ice cream is good.
Reheating makes it good also.
