Nuts & Raisins Bread Pudding
|Milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Ground cinnamon||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Chopped walnuts||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|White bread cubes||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Raisins||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Meringue||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Readymade)|
1.In a 1 quart glass measuring cup, put milk and butter and heat for 4 1/2 minutes at High without covering.
2.In a 1 quart glass measuring pitcher, add eggs and whisk them gently.
3.Once done, put sugar and blend well.
4.Stir in the heated milk to the egg mixture and continue mixing.
5.Stir in vanilla extract, cinnamon, salt and nuts.
6.Take a 1 1/2 quart glass casserole, put bread cubes and raisin to it and top the mixture with egg mixture.
7.Heat without covering for 12 minutes at Medium High.
8.Turn the casserole wfter every 4 minutes.
9.Once the center is set, top with meringue.
10.Serve in a dish.
