Spiced Squash Pudding

Ingredients
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Flour 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground ginger 1 Teaspoon
  Powdered mace 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Eggs 3 Large
  Mashed cooked butternut squash/Mashed cooked hubbard squash 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Milk 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Light molasses 2 Tablespoon (Use Mild Variety)
  Melted butter/Melted margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Whipped cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat moderate oven (350°F.)

MAKING
2) In a bowl, mix sugar, flour, salt, ginger, and mace.
3) Beat in eggs and blend.
4) Add squash, milk, molasses, and butter and mix thoroughly.
5) Grease 1 1/2 -quart casserole and pour the content into it.
6) Bake in oven for 1 1/4 hours.

SERVING
7) This dessert can be served with whipped cream.
