Forget those plain rice puddings; try out this Rice and Nuts Pudding. This Rice and Nuts pudding is made creamy and delicious - you will for sure come over your dislike for plain rice puddings. Make this simplest dessert in your microwave or oven!
Ingredients
  Milk 1⁄2 Pint
  Rice 1 Tablespoon
  Long grain rice 2 Ounce
  Chopped nuts 4 Ounce
  Ground cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Water 1⁄4 Pint
  Brown sugar 4 Ounce
Directions

Boil the milk and water together with the sugar and add the rice.
Simmer for 10 - 15 minutes, then add the ground rice made into a paste with a little milk.
Simmer for a further 10 minutes, add the cinnamon and stir gently.
When cold, sprinkle with nuts and serve with cream or fruit.
