Bread and Butterscotch Pudding
|Butter||1 Ounce (25 Gram)|
|Soft brown sugar||1 Ounce (25 Gram)|
|Single cream||3 Fluid Ounce (85 Milliliter)|
|Milk||2 Fluid Ounce (50 Milliliter)|
|Egg||1 Small, beaten|
|White bread slices||2 , crust removed|
|Sultanas||1 Ounce (25 Gram)|
1) In a small saucepan , add the butter, sugar and cream ,heat gently until the butter and sugar melt; allow to boil, stirring continuously, until the mixture turns syrupy.
2) Stir in the milk and beaten egg, blend well.
3) Trim the bread into fingers and place 1/2 of the bread in a small ovenproof dish, sprinkle with 1/2 of the sultanas and pour 1/2 of the butterscotch sauce over; repeat these layers.
4) Place in a preheated oven and bake for 30 min.
5) Serve on a nice dish.
