|Stale french bread/Challah||1 Pound|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||3 Tablespoon|
|Seedless raisins||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped walnuts/Pecans||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sliced apples||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
Tear bread into pieces and place in large mixing bowl.
Moisten with enough water to make it wet but not soupy.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Place in a buttered 9" x 13" baking dish.
Bake in 350° oven for 1 hour.
