Raisin Honey Bread Pudding

Ingredients
  Raisins 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Honey 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  White bread cubes 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Milk 1 Quart
  Eggs 5
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 2 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Rinse raisins and drain.
Combine honey and bread cubes; cook over low heat and stir until bread absorbs honey (2 to 3 minutes).
Blend milk, slightly beaten eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla together; add with raisins to bread cubes; mix well.
Pour into buttered baking dish.
Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Place dish in pan of hot water and bake in moderate oven (350°F.) 1 hour or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Serve with plain or whipped cream.
Serves 6 to 8.
