Apple Bread Pudding
|Packed brown sugar||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Ground cinnamon||1 Teaspoon|
|Ground nutmeg||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Chopped apples||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Unseasoned whole wheat and white croutons||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Raisins||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Packed brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Amaretto liqueur||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
In large mixing bowl, blend eggs, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg and vanilla.
Blend in milk.
Stir in apples, croutons and raisins.
Pour into 2-quart casserole.
Place casserole on saucer in microwave oven.
Microwave at High for 5 minutes.
Reduce power to 70% (Medium High).
Microwave for 14 to 17 minutes, or until apples are tender and mixture appears set, stirring twice.
In small mixing bowl, combine all sauce ingredients.
Microwave at High for 2 to 3 minutes, or until bubbly, stirring once.
