Baked Rice Pudding

Ingredients
  Uncooked rice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Milk 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Seedless raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Powdered nutmeg 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

1. Start oven, set at Slow, 275° F. Rub a 2-quart baking dish with margarine or butter.
2. Wash the rice, add the milk, sugar and salt. Mix and pour into the baking dish.
3. Bake uncovered; stir several times during the first hour of baking; adding raisins; continue to bake 2 to 3 hours in all or until a brown film covers the top of the pudding.
4. Sprinkle with nutmeg and serve with top milk or cream.
