Chocolate And Vanilla Swirl Pudding

Ingredients
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
  Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Margarine/Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Semisweet chocolate chips 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Mix sugar and cornstarch in 4-cup measure; stir in milk and egg.
Microwave uncovered on high (100%) 3 minutes; stir.
Microwave uncovered until mixture thickens and boils, 2 1/2 to 3 minutes longer; stir in margarine and vanilla.
Cover and refrigerate 1 1/4 cups pudding; use within 2 days for Fruit Pudding.
Stir chocolate chips into 1/2 cup of the remaining pudding until melted.
Layer vanilla and chocolate pudding alternately in parfait glasses or swirl in serving dishes.
Refrigerate until serving time.
Garnish with fresh berries or sliced almonds if desired.
