Vanilla Corn Starch Pudding
|Milk||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Cornstarch||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Scald 2 2/3 cups of the milk.
Mix cornstarch, sugar, and salt.
Then stir in remaining milk until smooth.
Add to scalded milk and cook over low heat, or in top part of double boiler over boiling water, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Continue cooking for about 5 minutes, or until cornstarch is completely cooked.
Cool slightly, add vanilla, and pour into serving dish or dishes.
