Fruity Bread Pudding
|Mixed dried fruit||3 Ounce (75 Grams Or 2/3 Cups)|
|Apple juice||1⁄4 Pint (150 Milliliter Or 2/3 Cup)|
|Stale bread||4 Ounce, diced (115 Grams, Brown / White Bread)|
|Mixed spice||1 Teaspoon|
|Banana||1 Large, sliced|
|Skimmed milk||1⁄4 Pint (150 Milliliter Or 2/3 Cup)|
|Demerara sugar||15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)|
|Natural low fat yogurt||2 Tablespoon (For Serving)|
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F/ Gas 6. Place the dried fruit in a small pan with the apple juice and bring to the boil.
2. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the bread, spice and banana Spoon the mixture into a shallow 1.2 litre / 2 pint / 5 cup ovenproof dish and pour over the milk.
3. Sprinkle with demerara sugar and bake for 25-30 minutes, until firm and golden brown. Serve hot or cold with natural yogurt.
