Wheat Flake Pudding
|Granulated sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Milk/1 cup evaporated milk and 1 cup water||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Bottled)|
|Whole wheat cereal flakes||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
Beat granulated sugar into beaten eggs.
Then add salt, allspice, and molasses, and stir until well mixed.
Add vanilla extract and milk; then stir until mixture is thoroughly blended.
Next add whole-wheat cereal flakes.
Pour, into greased or oiled 1-qt casserole.
Bake in a moderate oven of 325º F for 1 1/4 hrs.
Serve warm or cold with light cream or a small serving of vanilla ice cream.
