Bread Pudding with Lemon Sauce
|Dry whole wheat bread cubes||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Hot milk||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Honey||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Eggs||4 , slightly beaten|
|Raisins||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Pour the hot milk over the bread cubes; while they soak, stir in the honey, butter, vanilla, and salt (and raisins).
When the mixture has cooled slightly, beat in the eggs.
Pour into an oiled 1 1/2 -quart baking dish. Place in a pan of hot water and bake at 350°F for about 1 hour, until firm.
Serve warm with lemon sauce.
