Peach Pudding

Ingredients
  Peaches 4 Medium, sliced
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Shortening 2 Tablespoon
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Butter a 9-inch glass pie plate.
Fill with sliced peaches.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over peaches.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until cake tester inserted in center of pudding comes out clean.
