|Orange jelly||200 Gram|
|Cold milk||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Whipped cream||1 Tablespoon|
|Glazed cherries||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Water||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
Wash, peel and halve peaches.
Prepare syrup from sugar and water.
Place peach halves in boiling syrup.
Simmer for one minute.
Turn peaches once or twice while they are in syrup.
Drain when syrup is cold.
Again put remaining syrup on fire.
When it comes to boil, remove from heat.
Dissolve jelly in the syrup.
Chill to set in the refrigerator.
When partially set, beat jelly, add cold milk and beat again.
Pour in 1 inch deep dish.
Arrange peach halves on jelly with cut side up.
Place a big dab of whipped cream with a cherry on top on the centre of peach halves.
