Ingredients
  Sago 1 Ounce (Large Ones)
  Rice 1 Ounce (Whole Ones, Carolina / Short Grain)
  Flaked tapioca 1 Ounce (Null)
  Flaked rice 1 Ounce (Null)
  Milk/Null 2 Pint (Null)
  Sugar/Null 3 Ounce (Null)
  Finely shredded suet/Butter 1⁄2 Ounce (Null)
  Grated nutmeg/Other flavoring 1 Teaspoon (Null)
Directions

Grease a pie-dish with butter.
Wash the grain in cold water if necessary, and put it into the pie-dish with the milk.
Leave to stand for about 1/2 hr.
Add the sugar, flake the fat on to the top and add any flavouring required.
Bake slowly (310° F., Gas 2) until the pudding is brown on top and of a thick creamy consistency.
