Creamed Rice Pudding

Ingredients
  Milk 2 Pint (1 1/4 Liter)
  Sugar 5 Ounce (150 Gram)
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Rice 3 Ounce (75 Gram)
  Vanilla essence 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Put the milk, sugar and salt in a saucepan and bring to the boil.
Gradually add the rice, then simmer, stirring occasionally, for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until most of the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender.
Stir in the vanilla.
