Deluxe Bread Pudding

Ingredients
  Bread slices 4
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon, softened
  Brown sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (Packed)
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Raisins 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Eggs 3 , beaten
  Granulated sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Dash
  Milk 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs), scalded
Directions

Heat oven to 350°.
Toast bread slices lightly; trim crusts.
Spread slices with butter; sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
Cut each slice into 4 pieces.
Arrange pieces sugared sides up in greased 1 1/2 quart casserole; sprinkle with raisins.
Blend eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla and salt.
Slowly stir in milk.
Pour mixture over bread.
Place casserole in square pan, 9 X 9 X 2 inches; pour very hot water (1 inch deep) into pan.
Bake until knife inserted halfway between edge and center comes out clean, 65 to 70 minutes.
Remove casserole from hot water.
Slice and serve
