Snow Pudding

Ingredients
  Unflavored gelatin 1 Tablespoon (1 Envelope)
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Grated lemon peel 1 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Egg whites 2
  Custard sauce 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Fresh strawberries 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

In a small saucepan, combine the gelatin, sugar, and salt.
Add 1/2 CUP cold water; stir over low heat till gelatin dissolves.
Remove from heat; add 3/4 cup cold water, lemon peel and juice.
Chill till partially set.
Turn into large mixing bowl; add unbeaten egg whites.
Beat with electric mixer till mixture begins to hold its shape.
Turn into eight 5-ounce custard cups.
Chill firm.
Unmold in serving dish.
Top with Custard Sauce and strawberry halves.
