|Suet||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped fine|
|Molasses||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sour milk||1 Cup (16 tbs) (In Which 11/2 Teaspoons Soda Are Dissolved)|
|Soda||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon (Dissolved With Sour Milk)|
|Flour||3 Cup (48 tbs) (Save 1/3 Cup To Dredge Fruits)|
|Raisins||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Currants||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Take the suet and pour the other ingredients over it.
Put into a pudding bag which has been moistened and rolled in flour.
Place in a vessel of boiling water and boil 4 hours 3 hours is enough if it boils constantly.
